We’re about useful. We know useful drives growth.
We’re consultants who implement—it’s not innovation, and it’s definitely not useful, until customers can touch and feel it.
We started out as an advertising and technology agency. The way we go about our work with a focus on customer experience has found us increasingly consulting in corporate innovation.
Moving the needle speaks to our deeply held desire to do work that makes a difference—to our client’s world, the way they do business and their bottom line.
The Village is not for everyone. We’re for restless people and organisations. Like us, they want to move the needle and are willing to invest the time and money necessary to make it happen.
We create and invest in our own ventures to provide all Villagers with creative freedom and hands-on business experience. V=G saw the Village open a retail food concept in 2017.
Along with our own ventures we make investments in companies moving the needle in their industry. Our portfolio is as diverse as tech acceleration and dementia caring.
The Village of Useful also founded and hosts Awesome Newcastle. A chapter of the global Awesome Foundation (founded in Boston in 2009), Awesome Newcastle provides no-strings-attached cash grants every month to help local business ideas and community projects. We founded Awesome Newcastle to give back and foster community entrepreneurship.
